Colombo Ezio

Our history dates back to 1958, when our founder Ezio Colombo decided to start a company for the manufacturing of ring nuts and nuts. Since then we have been growing and we created for ourselves an image as a reliable provider in various industrial sectors on the international scenario.

Over the years our recognized know-how and expertise, combined with our efficiency and sustainability, let us take hold of a leading role in the fastener industry.

Ring-nuts are in our DNA – Ezio’s dedication has been passed down through the generations. Our main focus is our customers’ satisfaction – we manufacture a wide range of products, from standard ring nuts to self-locking ring nuts, and even special ring nuts, designed according to the customer specification.

About us

Our history

  • 1958

    Summer 1958. Ezio Colombo founded the company Colombo Ezio for the manufacturing of ring nuts and nuts.

  • 1985

    August 1985. The company moved to a bigger plant in the quieter and better connected Mandello del Lario. New machine tools were added to the motor pool.

  • 2001

    April 2001. The company moved again, this time to Abbadia Lariana, and started automatize the production with robotic stations for high precision ring nuts and nuts.

  • 2006

    The achievements of the 2000s in terms of production efficiency and quality paved the way for the global export.

  • 2017

    Colombo Ezio underwent a change of property and a slight change of name, becoming Colombo Ezio & C.. The expansion and innovation phase continued with a look at the past and an insight towards the future.

  • 2020

    Colombo Ezio draws its attention on the Industry 4.0 philosophy, with interconnected and interfaced systems to optimize its production.
