Metallurgical and coating controls
For each batch that undergoes heat treatment, we carry out controls to verify the hardness and mechanical properties parameters required by the customer or by reference standards. For each heat treatment the hardness gradient is checked if requested by the customer. For zinc coating and surface treatments (RoHS Directive compliant) the coating thicknesses are checked by means of special instruments.
Thread controls
Thread control, an essential step in production, takes place during the set-up of the machine tools and the production of the batch, even up to a hundred percent if requested. Through specific software we are able to map the entire thread tooth flank.
SPC
The collection of data during production, introduced in our company in the 90s, is the most effective way to ensure maximum quality while limiting waste. This concerns both the critical characteristics identified at the beginning of the process and those defined through the FMEA.
TRACEABILITY
The batch number indicated on the packaging label helps us guarantee traceability. This means we can reconstruct the entire path of the product from the moment it enters our doors as raw material to the moment we deliver the finished product.
This process involves:
Lot identification- A unique number that identifies the batch from the start of production to the labelling of the finished products
- The traceability of raw material
- Each material is always associated with the casting reference, which is traceable thanks to our production batch number.
